What was your path to becoming a therapist?

I’ve always been drawn to understanding how people relate to one another and navigate life's challenges. Over the years, I’ve developed a system-focused approach, which means I look at how different parts of your life—whether personal, work, or relationships—interconnect and influence your well-being. My training in Solution Focused Therapy allows me to help you identify practical solutions to move forward, focusing on what’s working rather than what’s not. My goal is to guide you in finding clarity and making meaningful changes in your life.

What should someone know about working with you?

When you work with me, you’ll find a relaxed and supportive environment where we work together as a team. I believe therapy is a partnership where we focus on your strengths and build solutions that make sense for you. My approach is grounded in understanding the different aspects of your life and how they shape your emotional well-being. Whether you’re dealing with stress, low self-esteem, or relationship issues, I’m here to offer guidance and tools tailored to your unique situation. We’ll explore challenges together and create strategies that fit your life.

How does collaboration with other providers inform your work?

I believe in a team-based approach to mental health. Sometimes, working with other professionals—whether it’s a doctor, psychiatrist, or even family members—helps provide a more complete picture of your needs. When different perspectives come together, it helps me create a more personalized plan for your care. Collaboration ensures that every aspect of your well-being is supported, and it allows me to coordinate care that helps you achieve the best possible outcome.

What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to try therapy?

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. My advice would be to give yourself the chance to explore it at your own pace. Therapy is about helping you, not judging you. You might be surprised at how much clarity and relief you can gain just byhaving a space to talk things through. I always offer a free consultation so you can see if it feels like a good fit. It’s a safe place to start, and we’ll go from there based on what feels right for you.
